Project Result 2.1

The information presented in this report provides an overview of concrete agricultural and hydroponic-related policies and initiatives developed at the European level and in the project countries, describes relevant examples and practical experiences in the sector, and offers lessons for developing, implementing, and sustaining an effective hydroponic farming system.

Project Result 2.2

The information presented in this report summarizes the approach to and results of the desk-based study into the Hydroponic related Vocational Education and Training curricula offered at the Partner Countries.

 Desk Research Objectives

  • Map the agricultural education sector at EU level, and review the skill needs and job opportunities
  • Investigate the organizations which offer Hydroponic related certificates/degrees
  • Investigate the structure and content of these programs 

National Reports from Interviews

Project Result 2.3

Five National Reports were developed as needs assessment to determine the gap or discrepancy between the present state and the desired state in the hydroponic field. 

These reports present the results of questionnaire responses and interviews conducted with key informants in the field of hydroponic and vertical hydroponics in France, Greece, the Czech Republic, Italy, and Slovenia.

This transnational report presents the information collected by all the project partner countries within the activities carried out in Project Result 2.3.
