The Naklo Biotechnical Centre is a public educational institution with a 115-year tradition of working in the fields of agriculture (with emphasis on organic farming), rural development, nature preservation, food processing, horticulture, floriculture, renewable energy, etc. BC Naklo operates on a 4-ha school complex and 23 ha of arable land. Their facilities include workshops for dairy making and food processing, 2 greenhouses, an aquaponic greenhouse, various stables, a pond, laboratories, classrooms and a library.

The Biotechnical Centre Naklo also runs a project office with more than 10 years of experience in managing and coordinating projects under Erasmus+, Interreg, CLLD and others.

The Association of Private Farming of the Czech Republic (APF CR) is a voluntary professional organization of private farmers in the Czech Republic. All its activities are based on respect for old farming traditions and beliefs that family farms are the base of modern European agriculture and rural areas. The main focus of APF CR is the defense of the economic, social and professional interests of private farmers in the Czech Republic and abroad.

The long-term goals of the APF CR focus on the economic independence of rural areas and their development on the basis of multifunctional agriculture. The association supports family farming in the Czech Republic and the production of quality and ecologically friendly products.

The Department of Agriculture, Food, Environment and Forestry (DAGRI) originated in 2019 from the union of two former Departments (GESAAF and DISPAA), bringing together a century-long tradition of Agricultural and Forestry studies at the University of Florence. DAGRI is the second largest Department of the University of Florence and the only one in the Agricultural field, with over 120 academic staff, 60 technicians and administration personnel, 50 PhD students, 60 post doc, and 50 research fellows.
